I work with teens and adults in all stages of life who experience challenges with relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, vocation, questions of identity, or difficulties at work or school. My therapeutic approach is to meet clients where they are and to work together to discover personal insights that lead to a more authentic and purposeful life. I engage with clients through empathy, curiosity and care throughout their journey of self-discovery, exploring conscious and unconscious emotions at their own pace. Drawing inspiration from numerous theories of psychology, I view psychotherapy as a journey of individuation seeking healing and wholeness. I am also pragmatic, and work to help clients find solutions to life’s problems that will ease psychological pain and suffering.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the areas of faith-based community development, human services, advocacy, and nonprofit management celebrating values of diversity and multicultural community.
