I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to support individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and stress related to difficult life transitions, relationships, and other environmental factors. My aim is to build a strong relationship with my clients where they feel safe in the process of developing insight into their emotional experience and work toward meaningful change.
With children and adolescents, I utilize expressive techniques and play therapy to help them understand and better manage complex emotions. I believe in the importance of collaborating with families, schools, and the other relevant systems in a young person’s life to promote empowerment and build resilience.
