I provide therapy for couples and families who are experiencing ongoing challenges in their relationships and seek help in learning how to improve communication, reduce conflict and increase connection. I work from an attachment, emotionally-focused and developmental lens to help couples learn about their individual attachment styles, neuro-biological profiles and interpersonal patterns that affect their relationship. With families, I emphasize collaborative problem-solving, improving relational strategies and helping parents increase their knowledge and skills to understand and relate to their children and adolescents more effectively. I also provide individual therapy to adults who struggle with difficult life transitions, depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, career stagnation, health issues and grief and loss.
My role is to assist clients in identifying the patterns that cause them to be stuck and help them develop new insights and strategies to improve confidence and engage in relationships more effectively. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy and collaboration as I work with individuals, couples and families to build on their own strengths and problem-solving abilities to increase resilience, improve self-esteem, modify unhelpful behavior patterns and achieve lasting change.
